Technical Writer in New Haven

The technical writer will write responses to the NERC Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets (RSAWs) in preparation for the 2010 Compliance Audit.
The responses describe compliance with specific NERC Standards.
Required Skills
- Utilities experience in electric power market is a MUST
- Knowledge of NERC Reliability Standards relating to transmission operations PREFERRED
- Prior Compliance experience PREFERRED
- Typical day will consist of writing RSAWs and working on documents that will support the RSAWs
- MINIMUM of 3-5 years experience as a technical writer and EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY REQUIRED
- PROFICIENCY in Word and Acrobat Professional (or Standard 9.0)
- Will also use CATSWeb
Education
Degree preferred but will consider candidates with extensive experience .
Compensation
$45/hr.
